Screen Printer

I am so obsessed with screen printing.  I really, really, really, really, really want a screen printer.  I think I am going to try to make one.  I want to make a “defy gravity” shirt after seeing Wicked last weekend. (IT WAS SUCH A GOOD SHOW!)

Has anyone experimented with making your own screen printer?????

  1. You can buy a screen at’s where I got mine). It’s helpful to have rotating clamps(I’m not sure what the technical term for them is), so you can keep your screen in one place, and at the same time be able to lift it to put paper/material/whatever else underneath it.

Ink is fairly expensive, but a good investment(and you really only need a few basic colours that you can mix to make other colours). Regular screenprinting ink will normally work for printing on T-shirts, though it may not last quite as long as ink specially made to print on fabric.

Hope that helps to some degree.
